Begun modelling and texturing the Hut, for the most part the hut is nearly complete however changes and additional assets are yet to be modelled. This render also serves as a lighting test for the many outdoor night environments. Right now the key lights appear far too strong in my opinion but further adjusting and refering to lectureres should help when I come to the final lighting setups

Fusion environment Comp testing

Heres a test of the beginning sequence for the film, where the Jin are looking over the main character. Im experimenting with colour correction and the ethereal effects, it varies from my initial concept however I quite like the direction this test. The reds give it a slightly more menacing look that I wanted. The ground smoke has yet to be worked out properly, and theres a few more effects like depth of field I wish to try still. The lightbeam was created using the VolLight macro for fusion.

Rig start

Just finished the basic rigs for all the characters, heres a look at Rens rig which has all the basic controls I need including custom attributes for the foot controllers and fully Iked legs and arms.

Heres an update on the Ren character fully textured now, Im hoping iv achieved a semi realistic yet stylised look. The characters cheeks may be to red at the moment and i still want to fix a few problem areas..but overall this is the Ren character finished.
